CRM - Customer Relationship Management
CRM - stands for Customer Relationship Management. In every company, does not matter large or small, the most important person is not its CEO, or its owner, but the Customer. It is him who pays, who demands, with whom one has to reckon. Those, who do not understand this simple truth, will sooner or later fall behind, and will be exchanged by competitors, equipped with appropriate procedures and supporting software tools - all this to meet the Customer's needs, to understand his reactions and to predict his future behaviors.
Basically, there are two kinds of CRM systems:
- CRM - operational
- CRM - analytic
CRM - operational
The operational CRM solutions support current contacts with customers, register them, remind of things to do, and provide on demand all the necessary information about customers, their needs, preferences etc.
Our offer concerning operational CRM, Berberis, is addressed mostly to middle-sized enterprises. We described the proposed product as CRM+, since it supports not only the typical CRM functionality, but also sales, which in fact should crown every sequence of contacts with a customer. Consequently, we also added store support, so that finally we managed to create the software quite universal and helpful for every company.

This notion is commonly used to describe investigations and analyses of customers' behaviors, performed on the appropriate data permanently stored in different transactional systems. BMS offers setting up models and examining customers' profiles by means of modern data mining techniques.
